This session is directed to Teachers & Administrators who are considering running a 1:1 program in their school. Last year, I lead a 1:1 pilot program at the grade 7 level of my school and was involved from the preparation, to the roll out, to the closure of the year.
In this session I will walk you through what a Chromebook is (and isn't), how my school ran the project, the pros & cons of Chromebooks (from both the teachers' perspective and well as the school's tech coach perspective), examples of some work & projects our students did, as well as the logistics of managing ~150 Chromebooks in a large school setting.
